Position Objectives:
Performs customer service, administrative and technical duties to support the Landfill.
This position works Monday & Tuesday 7am- 4pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates computerized scale to weigh materials in and out.
- Inspects loads for hazardous and prohibited materials.
- Receives payment from customers; makes changes; operates credit card machine.
- Directs customers to proper area for disposal.
- Monitors live feed cameras to observe unattended scale operations.
- Maintains landfill records.
- Maintains office, scale house and equipment.
- Answers telephone; provides information and assistance; refers to appropriate personnel.
- Keep work area clean and orderly; pick litter.
Desirable Training and Experience:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Or one to three months related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must maintain a valid South Dakota Driver’s License.
